On September 18, 2025, the 10th GWEN Luminary Awards ceremony was held. This prestigious award honors leaders who create positive social impact through storytelling, innovation, compassion, and community empowerment, contributing to a more peaceful world. This year, the Goi Peace Foundation, which operates the Youth Peace Ambassador Program, was selected as one of the award’s distinguished recipients.

Representing the foundation, Ms. Maki Kawamura, Vice President of the Goi Peace Foundation and Ms. Miki Kawamura, intern at the goi peace foundation and founder of the Youth Peace Ambassadors, spoke on stage. 



During the ceremony, Ms. Miki Kawamura introduced the philosophy and activities of the Youth Peace Ambassador Program. She also presented a collection of peace message videos from more than 1,200 young people across 70 countries, which deeply moved the audience.


Young Voices Connecting the World Through Peace


Their diverse perspectives and heartfelt aspirations of the youth touched many participants and highlighted the importance of youth-driven movements.

The recognition of the Goi Peace Foundation’s long-standing efforts, along with the Youth Peace Ambassador Program, serves as meaningful encouragement for the next generation of peacebuilders. This global acknowledgment reinforces the growing impact of young people working toward a harmonious and peaceful future.
