Message from Initiator

In our lives, we carry many “labels.”

Japanese. Woman. Student.

As we grow, these labels naturally begin to follow us.

Sometimes, they help us connect with others who share the same identity.

But at the same time, they can quietly create invisible walls—

moments of separation from those who seem different from us.

In such a world, I often find myself wondering:

"What is the one thing that can unite humanity beyond all labels?"

The answer I found was simple, yet universal:

"the heartfelt desire to create peace."

The wish for peace leaves no one behind.

It transcends nationality, religion, gender, and generation.

It is an open door— a feeling that anyone can hold, anywhere in the world.

No matter how different our labels may be,

no matter how diverse our values are,

the desire to “live in peace” and “build a peaceful world”

quietly but powerfully connects us all.

Youth Peace Ambassadors are a global network of young people brought together by this shared desire for peace.

It doesn’t matter who you are.

Where you are from.

What you believe.

Or what you cherish.

Our differences don’t create walls.

In fact, the more diverse our perspectives are,

the more real and achievable peace becomes.

Why?

Because we’re all walking toward the same horizon—

toward “peace,”

a dream shared by all of humanity.

Youth Peace Ambassadors are a placewhere we welcome companions who want to nurture that dreamand walk that path together.
